Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools seeks an ECE Instructional Assistant to support students with disabilities in Special Education programs. The position follows a 187-day calendar with 7 hours per day and placement per the 1A Grade 8 salary schedule.

Salary range is $24.52/hr to $26.96/hr plus an ECE stipend of $1.00 per hour. The role focuses on implementing IEPs, maintaining a safe classroom, and engaging students across MSD, MMD, OHI, and other areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Passing score on the KPA or completion of 48 college hours.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities and communicate effectively.

• Help establish and maintain a safe, pleasant, and structured learning environment.
• Demonstrate willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
