Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an Early Childhood Classroom Assistant Teacher (ECCAT) for a Pre-Kindergarten through third grade setting. The position is a 200-day contract, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with pay grade E and a benefits package proportional to direct compensation.

The role reports to the Building Principal and Assistant Principal. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, WV ECCAT authorization eligibility, a background check, and compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED per WV Code.
• Hold or be eligible to hold a temporary or permanent ECCAT authorization issued by WVDE.

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive work habits and attitude.
• Performs duties outlined by the classroom teacher and assists with instruction.
• Assists with supervision of children across locations in the school and participates in in-service training.
