A global aerospace and national security leader is seeking an ECAD Designer to maintain and develop PCB parts libraries, supporting design projects through collaboration with engineers. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and relevant design experience, coupled with proficiency in industry-standard tools like Cadence Allegro.
As the Electronic Computer-Aided-Design (ECAD) Designer: Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Parts Librarian, you will be responsible for curating and maintaining a database of schematic symbols and footprint libraries for all PCB layout projects. You will develop PCB/CCA parts library elements, including electronic schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D models, using vendor datasheets along with industry and company standards. You will work closely with design engineers, component engineers, and the supply chain to create ECAD parts and maintain an up-to-date, accurate parts database. Additionally, you will drive process decisions, automate tasks, and support the integration of our library with other internal tools.
