Job description

REPORTS TO: Special Education Coordinator

RATE OF PAY: $37.73 per hour

WORK SCHEDULE:

• SET-UP DAY: June 18, 2025 (8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.)
• June 23, 2025 through July 17, 2025 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
• Teacher day - 7:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m
• Student day - 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
  No school for staff or students: July 3

DESCRIPTION: Extended School Year Program for Special Education - Summer program
resource/instructional intervention, self-contained classes, and individualized programs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• ISBE PEL with Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education endorsement, required
• ISBE PEL with ESL endorsement, preferred
• Previous experience working with early childhood students
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in working with special education students with moderate to severe disabilities, preferred
