  • Position Type:

Organizational Relationships:
  • Is accountable to the principal for performance of assigned duties.
  • Relates role to the building and system wide programs and objectives.
  • Coordinates work with members of their particular department.
Performance Standards:
  • In-class behavior: There is evidence that the pupils assigned to certain courses for which the instructor is responsible have achieved established objectives.
  • Out of class behavior: There is evidence that the instructor has developed behavior that results in effective cooperation with his colleagues and lay persons.
Position-Holder Qualification:
  • Graduate of a four (4) year college
  • Function effectively as a member of an instructional team.
  • Maintain strong commitment to the subject matter that he/she teaches.
  • Works effectively with the community.
  • Has ability to adapt to differences and changes in pupil characteristics.

Salary:

Based upon degree and years' experience Pursuant to WV Code 18A-4-2

Evaluation:

Performance in this position will be evaluated by the school Principal in accordance with WV State Code 18A-2-12, WV State Board Policy 5310
