Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Whitehall, MI is seeking an EBPVD Technician to operate the Electron Beam Physical Deposition furnace and execute the production schedule. This on-site role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience in manufacturing processes.

The position supports safety, tooling, and process integrity and may require overtime during the workweek. Visa sponsorship is not available; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience in electronics, vacuum furnaces, and manufacturing process troubleshooting is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in Word and Excel is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Run Electron Beam Physical Deposition furnace.
• Execute to the production schedule.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Direct small hourly workforce that is assigned to the furnace support operations.
• Maintain tooling inventory.
• Ensure employee safety and process integrity.
• Must be able to work overtime during the week when requested.
