Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. in Dallas seeks an Experienced EBCx Project Manager II to lead existing building commissioning projects of medium to high scope, overseeing HVAC systems, BAS, and building optimization while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

You will develop project plans, monitor budgets, and ensure timely delivery, with strong technical writing and communication skills, and 5+ years in HVAC commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years project experience in HVAC troubleshooting, commissioning, and retro-commissioning.
• Technical report writing experience with Office tools.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes and maintains project schedule with PMs.
• Defines project scope with the client and communicates to the project team.
• Monitors manpower requirements.
• Analyzes information from building plans, specifications, and documentation.
• Communicates with client and project team; documents important issues.
• Attends project update meetings with clients and team members.
• Coordinates with sub-contractors; manages scope creep.
• Prepares QA/QC plan and supports design/commissioning teams.
• BD activities including proposal writing and fee creation.
