About the team:

Core Technology (CT) is a global team responsible for the end-to-end eBay technology platform. This platform runs our entire infrastructure and all the services that come together to form ebay.com.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and manage the BMC Helix ITSM Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
2. Create and maintain CMDB runbooks and documentation to facilitate effective Application and Asset Lifecycle Management.
3. Develop and manage integrations, reconciliation and precedence configurations for all CMDB data sources.
4. Conduct configuration identification activities in identifying hardware, software and documentation CI’s.
5. Build reports and dashboards for analyzing and maintaining CMDB data quality.
6. Partner with IT Operations teams to update and maintain the Asset Product Catalog.
7. Develop workflow and other mechanisms to drive CMDB and Asset Management processes to improve or maintain data quality and completeness.
8. Other CM duties that may arise during normal business.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience managing or administering a BMC Helix ITSM (Remedy) CMDB.
2. Demonstrable understanding of ITIL lifecycle processes.
3. Experience implementing CMDB standards and methodologies.
4. Capability to work independently.
5. Business/Data analysis experience is preferred.
