Atlantic Health is seeking an Eating Disorder Clinician to provide individual, group, and family therapy for patients with eating disorders at our Summit location.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team with medical staff, dietitians and other behavioral health providers to design and implement individualized treatment plans addressing psychological and medical complexities of eating disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology or counseling.
• 1–2 years’ experience with eating disorder patient population.
• State of NJ LCSW or LPC license required.
• Competencies – working knowledge of CBT-E, DBT and FBT.
• Understanding of medical and psychiatric comorbidities commonly associated with eating disorders.

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial biopsychosocial assessments to determine need for eating disorder treatment.
• Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group psychotherapy (CBT-E, DBT, FBT).
• Develop treatment plans with measurable objectives with patient input.
• Engage families in treatment planning and psychoeducation.
• Collaborate with dietitians, psychiatrists, medical staff and nursing to ensure coordinated care.
• Complete documentation and charting of patient encounters in a timely manner.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and mandatory trainings.
