Job summary

BALANCE eating disorder treatment center is seeking a Program Therapist to join our growing team in New York. This role focuses on individual and group therapy, clinical assessments, and coordination of care within a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold LCSW/LMSW/LMSW/LMSW credentials and have knowledge of HAES and Intuitive Eating. You will contribute to treatment plans, supervise groups, and participate in rounds and staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with eating disorders is preferred.
• Knowledge of HAES and Intuitive Eating is expected.
• Dynamic, flexible team player who takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead psychotherapy groups, including CBT/DBT, body image, and family groups.
• Lead therapeutic meals, including pre-meal and post-meal processing groups.
• Individual case management and coordination.
• Attend all rounds, staff meetings, and group supervisions.
• Complete all required clinical notes related to program.
• Conduct intake assessments as needed.
• Provide team coverage as needed.
• Be on-call several nights a week on a rotating basis.
