Job summary

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to clients with eating disorders in a multidisciplinary setting. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, documentation, and crisis response.

Collaborate with therapists, dietitians, and physicians to support client safety and recovery, educate clients and families on treatment plans, and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Prior experience in behavioral health, eating disorders, or residential/inpatient care preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for eating disorders is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to clients with eating disorders, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document client progress, interventions, and response to treatment in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Educate clients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery-oriented coping strategies.
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies following established protocols.
• Support a therapeutic, recovery-focused milieu aligned with evidence-based practices.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
• Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development.
• Patient assessment and triage.
• Medication administration and reconciliation.
• Clinical documentation and EMR usage.
• Vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation.
