Job Summary

Eastmont - Server Part-Time. This role pays $15.50 per hour. Shift: 4:30p to 7:30p.

Qualifications

• At least 19 years of age.
• Previous server experience highly preferred.
• Six months or more in long‑term care, home care, or a related field preferred.
• Experience using POS (point‑of‑sale) transactional systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screen, and may need to complete other pre‑employment screenings such as a physical and TB test as required by state/local guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal selection, including ordering from the menu, buffet or a la carte items, and assistance with buffet stations (e.g., salad bar, breakfast bar).
• Present the menu to residents, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding meal choices. Record orders and relay them to the kitchen production area. Be knowledgeable about menu choices, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Work efficiently and quickly to deliver food to residents, providing aid as needed.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables for the next meal service.
• Assist with kitchen duties, including tasks such as salad bar service, soup service, portion desserts, brew coffee, or other services as needed.
• Assist with clearing tables.
• Observe residents to ensure safety in dining areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
