Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of forklift trucks, clamp trucks, and reach trucks safely, including charging and maintenance of propane and batteries.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance (PM) checklists.
• Operate pallet inverter and automatic palletizer safely. Check inventory, locations, WIP, and production schedules to accurately retrieve materials.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area, including sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, and cleaning lift trucks.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Safely move materials to and from storage, machines, and finished goods areas.
• Transport materials using forklifts to storage areas, workstations, and within the assigned areas.
• Load, unload, and stack materials following established procedures.
• Report non-compliance and quality issues to supervisors.
• Read and understand material labels and work orders.
• Adhere to safety rules and forklift training requirements.

Your Profile

• Valid U.S. Driver’s license required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Available for 8 or 12-hour shifts, including rotating days off, overnight, and weekends.
• Willing to work overtime as needed, including short-notice extra hours.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, climb ladders/stairways, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to read computer screens and operate hand/electrical tools.
• Work in fluctuating temperatures and wear personal protective equipment.
