Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Program Manager to lead the delivery of the ERTS Commercial Compliance Program across an assigned multi-state region. The role blends client-facing oversight with on-site inspections, hazard assessments, and EH&S training.

You will manage schedules, subcontractors, and the regional book of business while serving as the primary technical and commercial contact for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health,Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related technical field.
• 8+ years of EHS experience with audits/inspections across multiple sites or clients.
• Experience delivering EHS training to hourly and supervisory audiences.
• Experience in an environmental/EHS consulting firm or multi-site corporate EHS role with external client responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage Commercial Compliance Program accounts in the region: onboarding, calendars, site visits, service delivery.
• Serve as single point of contact for regional clients; lead kickoff/close meetings and manage escalations.
• Track hours, deliverables, and maintain client records, inspection reports, and training rosters.
• Coordinate and quality-check subcontractors for specialty scopes and upsell opportunities.
• Perform on-site compliance audits, hazard assessments, and regulatory reviews.
