Job Description

Position / Title: East Valley Building Engineer, must have own transportation and be willing to go to multiple sites each day.

Paragon Services, located in PHX AZ, serving customers throughout the valley, is currently seeking qualified candidates for Roving Building Engineer positions assigned to various locations within the Phoenix Metro area.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified applicants must possess a universal refrigerant handler’s license (EPA).
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check prior to employment.
• Reliable vehicle with current registration, proof of insurance, and valid driver’s license.
• Must have a truck.

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance (Heat Pump, WSHP, Fluid Cooler, Chiller, DX, EMS/BAS, etc.). Obtain and compare estimates for work by outside vendors to ensure proper bidding processes. Electrical tasks include re-lamping, ballast replacement, and breaker resets. Plumbing involves fixture repairs, drain maintenance, and restroom upkeep. Other duties include door and closer adjustments, ceiling grid and tile repairs, mechanical system inspections, roof inspections and minor repairs, maintaining utility and storage rooms, responding to work orders, general labor, painting, exterior facade repairs, and general repairs and maintenance.
