Compensation Base Range: $63,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The East Coast Retail Manager champions an energetic showroom environment by leading, coaching and inspiring a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences. They own the store's performance against revenue and profitability targets-developing sales plans, monitoring KPIs, and motivating the team to exceed their goals. Equally at ease on the sales floor as they are behind the scenes, they drive excitement for REP's products through hands-on demonstrations, personalized consultations and community outreach. Above all, they thrive on building relationships, turning each customer interaction into an opportunity to strengthen brand loyalty and fuel growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget, forecasting revenues and expenses.
  • Plan and optimize labor schedules to balance exceptional service with payroll targets.
  • Identify creative opportunities-cross-merchandising, window displays, feature tables-to showcase key product lines.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, offering personalized consultations and hands-on demonstrations.
  • Train and coach, your team to anticipate needs, resolve issues proactively, and exceed customer expectations at every touchpoint.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of REP's full commercial and home-use equipment portfolio-including specs, applications, and competitive advantages.
  • Master all standard operating procedures (inventory management, loss prevention, point-of-sale systems) and drive adherence across the team.
  • Oversee daily showroom housekeeping: cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance (aisle clearance, equipment anchoring).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages East Coast Retail Specialist team, consisting of 2-3 full-time employees.
  • Lead a high-level team by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule for employees, ensuring adequate personnel are on hand to provide outstanding customer support.
  • Ensure team performance standards and procedures are met daily through coaching and counseling.
  • Shadow and observe Retail Specialists once a month, ensuring selling behaviors match the standards set by REP.

  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications; intermediate to advanced Excel skills.Experience working in CRM and/or Shopify is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • 1 to 2 years' experience leading and developing a team.
