Job summary

ZTEX Construction is seeking an Earthwork Superintendent to lead field crews and subcontractors on heavy civil projects in the El Paso area. You will coordinate grading, earthwork operations, scheduling, safety programs, and on-site production to meet project goals.

The role requires 3–5 years of heavy civil construction experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to plan, organize, and drive job-site performance while maintaining compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of previous experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with earthwork, grading and mass earthmoving operations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to train and guide crews.

Responsibilities

• Set performance goals and deadlines aligned with project plans.
• Organize workflow and delegate duties to crews and subcontractors.
• Monitor productivity and provide coaching and feedback.
• Handle complaints and resolve on-site problems.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and submit to payroll promptly.
• Communicate information from management to workers on site.
• Prepare and submit performance evaluations.
