Job summary

Prince Contracting, LLC in Georgia is seeking a field supervisor responsible for the safety of the crews under his/her direction. You will understand and communicate Prince safety policies, oversee field activities, assess crew competency, and ensure production goals are met by following project plans.

The role requires strong scheduling and planning skills, the ability to read drawings, and excellent interpersonal communication.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years in heavy highway construction with knowledge of project scope and objectives.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret project specifications.
• Strong scheduling and planning knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; problem solving and conflict resolution.

• Identifies and reports scheduling conflicts with other teams and subcontractors.
• Prepares reports as required by Prince and approves material requisitions.
• Maintains employee time reporting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

DFWP/EOE/AAP: Minorities/Females/Disabled/Vets

• Must possess five (5) years in heavy highway construction with knowledge of project construction scope and objectives to include, but not limited to grade, slope, reading and understanding plans, and drainage
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications for the project
• Must possess a strong knowledge of scheduling and planning
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to apply effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Must possess excellent time management skills
• Must possess a clean Florida or Georgia driver's license
• Must be able to stand, kneel, walk, lift 60 pounds, bend, stoop, push and pull
• Must be able to work on average ten (10) hours per day, five days (and occasionally six days) per week
• All work is performed outdoors and around heavy highway traffic areas
