Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. is seeking a dependable construction laborer to perform a variety of physical tasks at project sites, operate common hand and power tools, and assist skilled trades as needed.

You will help keep sites clean and safe while supporting project teams to meet schedules. The role requires a high school diploma or construction experience, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6–12 months construction experience.
• Ability to work with equipment, materials, and safety guidelines.
• OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous manual tasks at construction sites.
• Operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe worksite and report hazards.
• Assist other craft workers and coordinate with foreman.
• Travel as required and work extended shifts when needed.
