Job summary

Walgreens is expanding its Pharmacy Technician career path with a patient-centric approach. In this role, you will work directly with customers, assist pharmacists, and participate in an earn-while-you-learn apprenticeship program recognized by ASHP and the Department of Labor.

Training includes pursuing PTCB certification and building strong patient relationships. You will gain hands-on experience with pharmacy systems, cash handling, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in retail or pharmacy environments.
• PTCB certification preferred or commitment to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with questions and purchases.
• Support pharmacy inventory and assist in related clerical tasks.
