Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Uses pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and verify accuracy.
• Fills prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; checks for possible interactions.
• Maintains patient and customer service standards to deliver a distinctive experience.
• Performs inventory management tasks such as ordering, unpacking, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
