Job summary

Kroger in Denver, CO is hiring a CDL-A Local Grocery Driver to deliver grocery freight from the Aurora distribution center to stores across Colorado and Cheyenne, WY. You’ll enjoy daily home time, mostly no-touch freight, and new 2025 automatic trucks.

Expect about 1–3 loads daily, 13 stops weekly, and live unload/drop-and-hook operations. Six days on, two days off with varied shifts including evenings and nights; home daily, sometimes overnight during surge.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.

Job Details

• Dedicated local grocery delivery account
• Starting location: Distribution center in Aurora, CO
• Delivery territory includes Colorado and Cheyenne, WY
• Approximately 1,700 miles per week
• Average of 1–3 loads per day and 13 stops per week

• Repeat deliveries to familiar stores

• Trucks must remain parked at the distribution center; taking trucks home is not permitted

Shift Details

• Home daily, with occasional overnight runs during surge periods
• Six days on followed by two days off
• Evening, night, and early-morning shifts
• 24/7 operation; schedules are not fixed
• Occasional short mountain runs may be assigned

Job Requirements
