Mindrift is conducting an in-person research study in the Santa Clara Valley (South Bay) area to observe how people communicate in everyday group conversations. The study is paid and invites adults to participate in a guided session.

Each session lasts about 75 minutes, is recorded on video and audio for research purposes, and participants will receive $110 after completion. No special experience is required; come as you are.

Qualifications

• Ages 18–64 are eligible to participate.
• Resident or able to travel to Santa Clara Valley, CA.
• Comfortable speaking English; all accents welcome.
• Available for one in-person session on a weekday between Nov 2026 and Mar 2027.
• No prior study participation required.

Responsibilities

• Join a small group (2–4 participants) for a guided conversation led by a moderator.
• Discuss everyday topics, such as planning a birthday or daily decisions.
• Session lasts about 75 minutes and is recorded on video and audio for research purposes.
