Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Ltd is seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly Islington setting. You will contribute to high-quality early years education, support children's learning through play, and create a safe, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

You must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years. The role offers 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, with opportunities for professional development and career progression, plus reduced

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support day-to-day nursery operations and maintain high standards of care.
• Follow the EYFS framework and lead by example in best practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support children's learning and development.
• Contribute ideas to enhance the nursery environment and experiences.
