Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Early Years advisor for a 9-10 month contract with a local authority in Hackney. The role pays £330 per day umbrella and focuses on improving outcomes in Early Years settings through expert advice, coaching, and training to schools, nurseries, and providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' teaching experience, including Foundation Stage.
• Experience observing, evaluating, and supporting colleagues.
• Experience working with Early Years and pre-school education providers.
• Experience delivering training, coaching, mentoring, or professional support to teachers and practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice, guidance, and challenge to Early Years settings to enhance outcomes.
• Support practitioners and managers through coaching, mentoring, observation, and performance improvement activities.
• Promote high-quality teaching, learning, curriculum planning, and assessment practices across Early Years settings.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of EYFS provision and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support settings with self-evaluation, action planning, and Ofsted preparation.
• Identify training and development needs and deliver professional learning opportunities.
