Job summary

Kohl's in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, is seeking an Assistant Designer to support design leaders in creating an assortment aligned with brand positioning and target customers.

You will build tech packs, trim sheets and design packages, ensure data accuracy in PLM, and assist in meeting prep, samples, and line sheets while gathering market insight and staying current on competitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related field is preferred.
• Experience with design or product accessory business and competitive landscape is a plus.
• Domestic travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build, create and maintain tech packs, trim sheets and design packages.
• Ensure accurate data entry into Product Lifecycle Management.
• Assist in meeting preparation and breakdown, including room setup, samples, reports and creating boards and line sheets.
• Gather and analyze market and trend research.

• Complete pre-packages as part of the research and development process.
• Additional tasks may be assigned.

About The Role

What Skills You Have

• Familiarity and moderate proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Ned Graphics, Kaledo or related program

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Previous retail experience
• Previous experience in design or product accessory business and the competitive landscape
• Domestic travel may be required
