Watershed in New York is seeking an energetic software engineer for the Energy Management team. As an early engineer on a small cross-functional squad, you'll help shape the product, write code, talk directly with customers, and turn insights into value-driven features.

You'll own delivery from zero to first iterations, shipping rapidly, and collaborating with energy experts across New York and London to learn the domain and deliver measurable impact for multi-million-dollar energy budgets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building software products with ownership.
• Experience shaping early-stage products where customer needs were not fully defined.
• Autonomous and proactive in ambiguous environments, asks good questions.
• Comfort across the stack to deliver outcomes.
• Strong product judgement with direct customer contact.
• Excited to learn the energy domain and use AI to solve problems.

Responsabilités

• Build a product powering Watershed's next chapter, helping companies reduce energy costs and make better investment decisions.
• Get close to the customer problem, building tools for decision-makers with multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Shape a new product from zero to one with pilot customers to discover value and path to product-market fit.
• Move quickly through learn-build-test cycles, shipping iteratively.
• Develop AI-powered workflows to help customers understand energy data and opportunities.
• Apply engineering judgment and leverage Watershed's platform, knowing when to prototype independently.
• Learn the energy domain alongside the team in New York and London to translate knowledge into useful products.
