Job summary
MSD in Rahway, NJ is seeking a Statistical Programmer to support early-stage oncology projects. You will develop and validate analysis datasets, tables, listings and figures, and ensure compliance with SOPs.
Responsibilities include partnering with outsource staff and documenting user requirements for programming deliverables. Strong SAS (data steps, procedures, macro) and CDISC knowledge are required; R experience is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field plus a minimum of 2 years SAS programming experience in a clinical trial environment
- MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Life Sciences, Engineering or related field
- R programming is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Programmatically develop, validate and maintain efficacy and safety datasets, tables, listings, and figures at a protocol level
- Assure deliverable quality and compliance with departmental SOPs and good programming practices
- Collaborate effectively with project team members including outsource provider staff
