Job summary

Diamond Medical Laboratories seeks a 4 AM Mobile Phlebotomist for a contract role in Elkton, MD. The ideal candidate will perform home and nursing facility blood collections, handle samples with care, and work 4:00 AM–8:00 AM shifts.

This part-time contract requires a minimum of 3 years' experience and a certificate-level education in phlebotomy. You will collect samples, ensure proper labeling and transport, keep detailed records, and collaborate with healthcare teams to support excellent

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Phlebotomist.
Certificate-level education in Phlebotomy or a related field.
Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
Certification in Phlebotomy or a related field (e.g., CPT, APT, or RCP).

Responsibilities

Collect blood samples from patients in their homes or in nursing facilities.
Conduct venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures.
Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of blood samples.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all patient interactions and samples collected.
Work early morning shifts, typically from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and comfort during the phlebotomy process.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
