Job summary

Family Dollar Services LLC in Rome, NY is hiring a Warehouse Clerk to maintain data integrity in the Inventory Control Center. You will assign pick locations, reconcile documents, and verify inventory movements to support accurate stock levels.

The role requires 4–6 months clerical or similar experience in a Retail Distribution or Warehouse environment, basic Word/Excel/Outlook, and working knowledge of WMS. High school preferred.

Qualifications

• Four to six months clerical or similar work experience in a Retail Distribution or Warehouse environment is preferred.
• Must demonstrate basic Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows.
• Working knowledge of WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns pick locations for maximum optimization as necessary.
• Performs functions of the DC allocation process efficiently.
• Reconciles Receiving documents to accounting reports accurately.
• Verifies inventory locations, accurately, and resolves issues for bust-out, stock decks, pick slots, cycle counts, problem pallets, transfers, etc.
• Performs data entries and updates reports accurately.
• Verifies and releases breakdowns accurately.
• Counts locations as assigned or requested accurately.
• Audits operations departments as assigned by management.
• Processes all merchandise returns to vendor.
