Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Brookhaven, MS is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials within the distribution center using standup forklifts and RF devices. You will load, locate, and place products, sometimes at heights, and maintain efficient material flow.

First shift starts at 4:00 a.m. and hours vary by volume. The company offers generous benefits starting after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, plus vacation and sick leave accrual from day one and paid

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift and RF Utility is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
