Job summary

Campbell Street in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Dietary Aide to provide an efficient, exceptional dining experience for residents. You will prepare and serve meals, manage tray settings, and help keep the kitchen clean and compliant with dietary procedures.

The role emphasizes accurate meal service, quality of life priorities, and teamwork with nursing staff. A 5AM–1PM shift with every other weekend is offered, along with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be at least sixteen (18) years of age.
• Shall have a high school diploma, or equivalent, or be in school.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages per recipe.
• Performs food preparation, covering, storage, and labeling tasks as assigned.
• Arrange tray and or table settings with proper tableware, condiments, and tray card.
• Serves meals to residents in accordance with established schedules, dietary procedures and resident rights/quality of life principles.
• Delivers nourishments and supplements to the nurse station for distribution to specific residents.
• Records wash and rinse temperatures as requested.
