Job summary

Charles D. Sheehy is seeking a Driver to join our Fleet team in Avon, MA. You will transport pipe, valves, and fittings to customer locations while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accurate delivery records.

This early morning shift runs 4:00am–12:30pm, Monday through Friday, with 40 hours per week. CDL Class B license, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 lb, and DOT compliance are required. We provide training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class B CDL.
• Current 1C Hoisting License (not required – we can help you obtain this)

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver materials to customers at designated job sites.
• Efficiently load and unload deliveries at each location.
• Retrieve customer returns and verify product accuracy for credit processing.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and refuel as needed to ensure readiness.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
