Job summary

Trillium Drivers is seeking Class A Drivers in Upper Marlboro, MD to safely operate delivery vehicles and make deliveries to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Branches.

The role requires daily pre-route inspections, proper loading, and warehousing support. A 4:30am start and a pay rate of $26/hour are provided; steel toe shoes are required and a valid Class A CDL with DOT Card is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL license.
• DOT Medical Examiners Card.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• May require lifting and pulling of heavy objects (70+ lbs).
• Driving delivery vehicle with GVW up-to, or over 26,000 lbs.
• Safe operation of forklift or other Powered Industrial Trucks.
• Steel toe shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and reliably operate delivery vehicles.
• Make deliveries to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Branches.
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report.
• Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight.
• General warehousing in support of delivery route(s).
• Other duties as assigned.
