Job summary

Spring Education Group seeks an Early Preschool Assistant Teacher to nurture a safe, vibrant classroom for ages 2 to 3. You will work with partner teachers to guide daily activities, foster creative learning, and support each child’s growth through positive engagement.

You will collaborate with staff, communicate with families, and uphold safety standards while helping with meals, rest times, and routine care. This role emphasizes patience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 6 sem or 9 quarter ECE units covering child development and curriculum.
• Patience, compassion and a love for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Prior preschool teaching experience is a plus.

• Daily communication with parents and guardians; collaborate with co-teachers and staff.

About the Role

As an Early Preschool Assistant Teacher, you will foster a nurturing, safe, and vibrant classroom environment for children ages 2 to 3. Working closely alongside partner teachers, you’ll help guide daily activities, encourage creative learning, and support each child's individual growth through positive verbal engagement and caring supervision.

• Create a nurturing, responsive environment that promotes positive development of social and emotional competencies.
• Communicate daily with parents and guardians while collaborating closely with co-teachers and school staff
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and clean classroom environment following all safety and licensing guidelines
• Assist children during meals, snacks, rest periods, and routine personal care (including toileting and diaper changing as needed)
• Perform other related classroom and school support duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

• High School Diploma and 6 semesters or 9 quarter early childhood education units shall include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior teaching experience with preschool students is a plus
