Job summary

UPS is seeking a facilities supervisor in the United States, Alabama region, to oversee safety, production and attendance with a focus on high performance and strong team leadership. The role entails training, coaching, and developing staff while maintaining strict safety and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, ability to lift 70 lbs, flexible shifts up to 5 days, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, develops, and leads workgroups in safety, production and attendance.
• Sets and maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
• Fosters a positive, team-oriented work environment and proactive communication.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed by all employees.
• Provides orientation, skills and safety training, and ongoing coaching.
