Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at our Lees Summit, MO location. You will deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with shoppers, processing purchases, and keeping the sales floor clean and organized.

You should have strong customer service skills, be able to work a flexible schedule, and communicate clearly with teammates. The role may involve cross-training in multiple areas and supporting loss prevention, safety, and store recovery.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising standards and prepares items for the floor.
• Initiates store recovery and maintains cleanliness of the store.
• Supports safety, loss prevention policies and procedures.
