Michaels is hiring a Seasonal Customer Service Associate to assist shoppers, operate the checkout, and support store operations. You will engage customers in rewards programs, help locate products, and participate in merchandise handling and restocking to keep the store well-merchandised.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand long periods and move around the store.
• Comfortable handling merchandise and cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Encourage enrollment in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram compliance.
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock levels, and merchandise presentation.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Engage with customers professionally and model company values.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
