General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation. The role involves performing various tasks across the store as needed, including customer service, cleaning, merchandising, and safety compliance.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety and maintain a secure shopping environment.
• Assist customers courteously and efficiently, including helping with merchandise and transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and merchandise.
• Follow loss prevention and safety policies.
• Handle cash and transactions accurately.
• Demonstrate integrity and safeguard confidential information.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications And Skills

Effective communication skills, basic math ability, and physical capability to perform store tasks are required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Work involves using store equipment and may require climbing ladders or pushing/pulling objects.
