General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures our Customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean work area, proper merchandise presentation, and performing various store functions as needed. The role may include additional tasks to support customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety and practice safe behaviors.
• Maintain a safe shopping environment, report unsafe conditions.
• Greet and assist customers courteously and professionally.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and issues.
• Support the company brand and perform cleaning and merchandising tasks.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Execute store standards for merchandise presentation and loss prevention.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

Effective communication, basic math skills, and ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, and using store equipment.

Physical Requirements/Ada

• Use of store equipment, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, carrying, reaching, and lifting over 25 pounds.
• For Stockroom shifts, ability to lift over 20 pounds regularly.
