General Purpose

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. This includes greeting Customers courteously, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring proper merchandise presentation. The Associate performs various tasks across store areas as needed to support customer service and operational goals.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety and practice safe behaviors at all times.
• Maintain awareness on the sales floor to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Greet and assist Customers, handle transactions, and address Customer questions courteously.
• Support store cleanliness through cleaning tasks and replenishing supplies.
• Ensure merchandise is well-organized and replenished promptly.
• Understand and follow Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
• Safeguard confidential information and merchandise.
• Handle cash and transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform tasks with a sense of urgency to maximize productivity.

Qualifications And Special Skills Required

Effective communication skills, basic math skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and using store equipment.

Physical Requirements/Ada

• Use of store equipment, standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting over 25 pounds.
• For Stockroom shifts, ability to push, pull, and lift over 20 pounds.
