Job summary

ISS Guckenheimer in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Prep Production Cook/Dishwasher to prepare, season and cook foods to Guckenheimer standards, and to serve customers during meals. The role requires using standard kitchen equipment and coordinating with the chef, with a shift from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Applicants should have ServSafe or City/State Food Handler certification, a strong customer-service mindset, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume catering

Qualifications

• Must be able to use standard kitchen equipment safely.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and food quality control.
• ServSafe certification or City/State Food Handler Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Season and cook food according to recipes and experience.
• Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking temperatures.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using kitchen tools.
• Portion, arrange, garnish, and serve food to customers.
• Regulate oven, broiler, and grill temperatures.
• Support other cooks during busy periods.
• Follow all safety, HACCP, and company policies.
