Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented Pastry Chef who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. In this role you will join a dynamic team with a menu of more than 40 fresh baked pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins made from honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Pastry Chef must have proven pastry experience, follow recipes precisely, and maintain sanitation standards. Expect early shifts, long periods of standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of large-scale baking/pastry experience, able to decorate pastries quickly.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal food handling and sanitation standards.
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and decorate pastries, pies, cakes and muffins from fresh ingredients.
• Maintain quality and consistency across a 40+ item pastry menu.
• Follow recipes precisely and maintain sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with team; support busy shifts and ensure timely service.
