Job summary

Labcorp in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Lab Assistant to support clinical laboratory operations on a Tue–Sat schedule from 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with overtime as needed.

You will receive and sort specimens, prepare them for testing, enter data, maintain equipment, and help sustain a clean, safe, compliant lab environment in a fast-paced production setting.

Preferred candidates may have Labcorp experience and a strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in production, assembly, manufacturing, warehouse or similar setting.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and enter patient information
• Maintain lab equipment and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot specimen-related issues
• Follow SOPs to ensure safety and quality
