Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Cargo Handler to load and unload freight, ensure safe handling, and accurately stage next-day routes. The role relies on handheld scanners to track shipments and requires teamwork and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/move freight as part of daily duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Attention to safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trucks and trailers.
• Safely load and unload trailers using approved equipment.
• Use handheld scanners to track freight across the network.
• Accurately stage and audit next day routes.
• Label boxes and prepare freight for shipment.
• Verify freight documentation and condition for quality checks.
• Check-in and unload freight, addressing discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
