Job summary

Saltbox is seeking a Dock Sortation Specialist for our Duarte location. You will be on the floor each shift, scanning packages, sorting them accurately, staging them for drivers, and ensuring on-time delivery.

This fast-paced, physical role requires attention to detail and reliability throughout every shift. You’ll work with handheld devices, supporting other Saltbox operations as part of our Elastic Workforce, reporting to the Dock Sortation Lead with backing from the Operational Excellence

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 6+ hours and lift/move packages up to 50 lbs.
• Available for early morning shifts on a rotating 7-day schedule.
• Reliable transportation to Saltbox location.
• Comfortable using handheld scanning devices and mobile apps.
• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Scan every inbound package with the Sort App; perform presort and bin assignment.
• Maintain a target scan rate of 225 scans per hour.
• Sort packages into correct shelving units; ensure accuracy to avoid delays.
• Move sorted batches to driver handoff zone and assist with dispatch scanning.
• Help ensure 99.5% of packages are dispatched by 11:00am.
• Count on-hand packages at shift end and flag discrepancies to Lead.
• Keep the sortation area clean, organized, and safe; return equipment properly.
