Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Baker to join our team. Bakers arrive early (as early as 3AM) to stock and prepare bagels, and work as a team to ensure quality products while delivering friendly guest service.

Responsibilities include stocking the bagel wall and pastry case, taking orders, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. We offer competitive pay, tips, paid time off, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations)
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations
• Additional benefits eligibility subject to position guidelines at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure quality product is available each shift
• Provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc.
• Keep a safe and clean store environment
