Job summary

Kelly Services in New York, NY is seeking entry-level Assemblers for our Forming Department. You’ll help manufacture and assemble plastic tubing products, following simple work instructions and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. No manufacturing experience is required—paid training is provided.

The schedule is Monday–Friday with a 6:00 AM start, and weekends off. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a pathway to longer-term employment.

Qualifications

• Dependable and ready to learn.
• Comfortable working with hands.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Detail-oriented.
• Comfortable in a production environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful, but NOT required.

Responsibilities

• Assembling parts and finished products.
• Operating forming equipment.
• Working with plastisol used to form tubing.
• Dipping metal rods into materials as part of the process.
• Following simple work instructions.
• Checking products for quality.
• Keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Following safety procedures.
