Cabarrus County Schools is seeking an Early Literacy Specialist to support the LETRS-based professional development and district-level implementation within the Office of Early Learning in North Carolina. The role focuses on aligning LETRS and literacy PD with district expectations and providing coaching to schools.

Requirements include K-5 LETRS mastery, a degree in education, and travel with a NC Driver's License.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in education with leadership experience.
• Five years of related public education experience.
• Mastery of K-5 LETRS professional development.
• Ability to travel and obtain NC driver's license.
• Knowledge of the Excellent Public Schools Act and early literacy practices.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and support LETRS implementation and PD at district level.
• Collaborate with state Office of Early Learning on LETRS alignment.
• Provide coaching and professional development to district and school staff.
• Monitor data analysis and measure impact of reading instruction.
