Qualifications

• Experience in a child care setting with ability to follow educational standards.
• Able to develop lesson plans aligned with standards and goals.
• Knowledge of effective classroom management practices.
• Meets all district and state new-hire requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare age-appropriate lessons meeting educational requirements.
• Manage a busy classroom and provide structure for successful learning.
• Support children in achieving educational milestones through instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to parents/guardians on a regular basis.
• Work with diverse populations across cultures and languages.
• Develop lesson plans including basic vocabulary, shapes, colors, letters, numbers.
• Address interpersonal skills like sharing and taking turns.
• Complete required TRIS state training hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
